Principal
Eli is a Co-Founder and Principal at Cohen Rojas Capital Partners where he manages the firm’s residential and multi-family acquisitions and dispositions. Most recently, he was a Partner at Palmer Capital, a commercial real estate firm focused on office, retail and industrial properties. In this capacity, he sourced debt capital for acquisitions, recapitalizations and construction projects, maintaining relationships with banks, insurance companies and specialty finance companies. He also advised real estate investment funds on the acquisition and disposition of commercial properties in the western United States. Earlier in his career, he worked in Real Estate Investment Banking at Citigroup and Finance & Private Sector Development at the World Bank.
Eli is an active member of the Urban Land Institute (ULI) and the Jewish Community Federation’s Business Leadership Council (BLC). Additionally, he served on the Leadership Board as Head of Mentor Recruitment for StreetWise Partners, a non-profit organization arranging corporate mentorships for low-income individuals in Washington, DC. He holds a B.S. in Economics from Trinity College in Hartford and an M.B.A. in Real Estate & Finance from the University of Michigan’s Ross School of Business.
Eli lives in Mill Valley, CA with his wife Allison and their three daughters.
